"Ask any local and they’ll say the same thing—this place needs absolutely no introduction. In my books, this is hands down one of the best, if not the best, Chee Cheong Fun in Ipoh. The chee cheong fun is impossibly silky, almost melt-in-your-mouth, and the sauce? Pure magic. The moment they come together, it’s a perfect harmony of flavour, texture, and comfort that lingers long after the last bite. This isn’t just breakfast or a snack—it’s an Ipoh icon, and missing it would be a such a pity."

"If you think chee cheong fun is just rice noodles drenched in sauce, Pasir Pinji CCF is here to prove you wrong—and then convert you into a loyal follower. Imagine this , silky hand-cut noodles, no factory-made uniformity here. Each strand is cut with the kind of care that makes you wonder if the vendor has secretly mastered the art of noodle meditation. They don’t drown it in thick gravies or fancy toppings—instead, the magic lies in its simplicity. A gentle toss of soy sauce, sesame oil, and crispy fried shallots transforms this dish into something strangely addictive. The texture? Smooth, yet firm enough to have bite. The shallots? Fragrant and crisp, adding just the right amount of contrast. It’s a dish that whispers rather than shouts—yet somehow, it keeps you coming back for more. Oh, and don’t be fooled by the humble setup. The queues say it all. People—young, old, possibly even those reincarnated from past lives—flock here for a taste of nostalgia. It’s Ipoh in its purest form, and honestly, that’s more exciting than any over-the-top fusion noodle creation. This is comfort food stripped down to its essentials, proving that sometimes, less is more. If you haven’t had Pasir Pinji CCF yet, fix that immediately."

"Operate from a house setting. You have to queue at the side of the house to order and collect. There are designate tables and chairs at the car porch if you wanna dine in. Because it’s a housing area, parking can be very very difficult and narrow. My advice- park by the main road outside and walk in. Average CCF with good mixture of chile and sweet sauce."

"We tried both types of sauces - CCF with red sauce and soy sauce. Both are good, very fragrant with freshly fried shallots topping. Wanted to their fish ball but no luck. Had their fish cake instead."
